Leadership & team development for startup founders

Develop the founder. Strengthen the team. Protect the journey.

Foundarc is a leadership and team development programme for entrepreneurs. We work with accelerators and venture capital firms to help their founders build the skills, relationships, and resilience they need to lead effectively in their field, in their teams, and in their lives.

Built for cohorts

8 to 16 founders

Foundarc works with accelerators and venture capital firms investing in the human side of their portfolio.

Founder reality

Experts, not always leaders

Most founders are exceptional in their field. Few have been trained to lead a team, manage conflict, or make high-stakes decisions under pressure.

What changes

Leadership capacity grows

Founders develop leadership identity, stronger relationships, better decision-making, and more psychological safety in the team.

About

The human side of building a company is rarely talked about. It is time to change that.

Founder

I am an organisational psychologist, co-psychodramatist, and Chevening Scholar based in Istanbul. I work at the intersection of leadership development, team dynamics, and psychological resilience, specifically with founders who are navigating the human challenges of building a company.

My background is in organisational psychology and psychodrama — a group-based, action-oriented methodology that goes beyond talk. Rather than discussing leadership challenges in theory, founders work through them directly, in real time, in a group, with immediate feedback.

I founded Foundarc because I believe that the most important investment any accelerator or VC can make is not only in a company's product or market, but in the people building it.

Methodology

Psychodrama

An experiential, group-based approach developed by psychiatrist J.L. Moreno. Participants work with leadership challenges through structured action, role exploration, and real-time group feedback.

Methodology

Applied sociometry

Maps the invisible dynamics within teams — patterns of trust, communication, influence, and exclusion — before they escalate into conflict or crisis.

What this creates

Leadership identity with more safety

Together, these methodologies help founders strengthen team relationships, build psychological safety, and restore the spontaneity and creativity that chronic pressure tends to erode.

Credentials
  • Co-psychodramatist, Advanced Level Psychodrama Training and supervision, Dr. Abdulkadir Ozbek Psychodrama Institute
  • MSc Occupational and Organisational Psychology, University of Sussex, Chevening Scholarship — awarded by the UK FCDO

Research & Insights

The human side of entrepreneurship is the most under-invested area in startup support.

At Foundarc, research is not a background activity. It is central to everything we do. Every programme we deliver generates anonymised, aggregate data on founder psychological health, team dynamics, leadership development, and resilience.

Over time, this builds a clear, evidence-based picture of what founders actually experience — and what genuinely helps — in the Turkish startup ecosystem.

Annual sector report

The first report is coming in 2026.

Each year, Foundarc publishes an annual report on founder psychological health and team dynamics in Turkey's startup ecosystem.

Our commitment

We believe that changing how the ecosystem supports founders starts with making the invisible visible. The clearer we can see the human cost of entrepreneurship, the stronger the case for investing in the people behind the companies.
